Mrs. Helen A. (Earnest) Mundis, 100, of Quincy, PA, passed away, Thursday, January 9, 2025, in Quincy Village.

Born August 16, 1924, in Carlisle, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Anna (Kohler) Earnest. Mrs. Mundis went to the Quincy Orphanage in 1933 where she was raised until the age of 18.

Mrs. Mundis attended Quincy High School.

She and her husband, Raymond Mundis were married on March 17, 2001, in Blue Rock Church, Waynesboro, PA

Mrs. Mundis worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for Quincy United Methodist Home. She retired in 1999 after 32 years of service.

She was a member of Blue Rock Church in Waynesboro, where she played the piano for many years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, baking, and most of all, loved her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Joni L. Ott and her husband Mike of Waynesboro; one grandson, Matthew Ott; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, LeRoy “Johnny” Blubaugh; her second husband, Raymond W. Kitchen; a daughter, Deloris “Lori” Blubaugh; and two brothers, Merrill Earnest and George Earnest.

Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
