Judith Elaine Stevens, 84, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025. Born to Jethro Chapman and Natella Marie Boyer Carper, she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Benjamin Arthur Stevens, and her brother Larry Dean Carper.
She is survived by her children, Bart (Betsy) Stevens, Connie (Butch) Kauffman, and Lynn (Mary) Stevens; siblings Jean Carper, Joan (Dick) Hickson, and Bob (Judy) Carper; grandchildren Jessica Stevens, Rachel (Tyler) Naugle, Justin (Sarah) Kauffman, Joel Kauffman (Kelsey Davis), Cole Stevens, and Kara Stevens (Ben Rahimi); and great-grandchildren Lilianna and Madelynn Arters; Jax, Cooper, Sophia, Gunner, Mason, Oakley, and Kenzleigh Kauffman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A celebration of life will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday December 18, 2025, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Pastor John Hoffman officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thursday afternoon in the funeral home.
