Mr. Larry J. Naugle, 76, of South Mountain, PA, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, in Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA.
Born June 4, 1948, in South Mountain, he was the son of the late Glenn and Isabel (Brown) Naugle.
Larry was employed at Knouse Foods as a forklift operator for over 40 years.
He was a simple man who found enjoyment in old cars, tractors, NASCAR racing and attending car shows. He could often be found in Strang’s Cemetery on a daily basis visiting family members and friends that had gone on before him.
He is survived by his three children, Bradley J. Naugle, Laurie Daywalt and her husband Lee both of South Mountain, and Kevin R. Naugle and his wife Tina of Waynesboro, PA; 4 grandchildren, Josh, Dusty, Bryson, and Blake; 2 great-grandchildren, Jacob and Wyatt; his siblings, Nancy Kauffman, Linda Shepard, Jeffrey Naugle, and Angela Baker; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Thomas Naugle, Anthony Naugle, Rodger L. Naugle, and infant brother Glenn E. Naugle, Jr.
Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Rev. Lee Daywalt officiating. Burial will follow in Strang’s Cemetery, South Mountain.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Wednesday morning in the funeral home.
