Mrs. Lois B. (Besecker) Rosenberry, 91, a resident of Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, Chambersburg, PA and formerly of Waynesboro, PA passed away Monday, March 10, 2025, in the nursing home.

Born July 11, 1933 in the Fox Hill area of Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Frances (Stoops) Besecker.

She was a graduate of Quincy High School.

Mrs. Rosenberry was a homemaker most of her life. After her children were grown, she did work for a number of years at Hearthstone Retirement Home and The Hoover House Restaurant, both of Waynesboro.

She was a member of Five Forks Brethren in Christ Church, Waynesboro and enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, cooking and riding around on the golf cart at Camp Saunderosa, Mercersburg, PA.

She is survived by three children, Judy Evans of Marion, PA, Monte Rosenberry (Julie) of Waynesboro and Duane “Peanut” Rosenberry of Waynesboro; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the last of her immediate family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt D. Rosenberry, who died on October 22, 1992; one daughter, Sharon Gossert; three sons, Harry Reese, Jr., James A. “Buck” Reese and Larry Reese; one brother, Curtis Besecker; and two sisters, Maxine Mentzer and Dorothy Harmon.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 14, 2025 in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, 3218 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, PA.

There will be no public viewing.
