Mr. M. Robert Blubaugh, of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, who peacefully entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Quincy Village, at the age of 92.

Born on February 28, 1933, in Waynesboro, Mr. Blubaugh was the beloved son of the late Mr. Max Blubaugh and Alma (Baker) Biser. A graduate of Waynesboro High School, Class of 1951.

On July 7, 1951, he united in marriage with his cherished wife of over 73 years, Mrs. Edwina (Shearer) Blubaugh. Together, they shared a rich, full life of love and partnership. Mr. Blubaugh was a man of many talents and callings. He served with great commitment in his professional life, beginning with positions at Landis Tool and Pangborn; and later opening Blubaugh Nursery.

In his personal life, Mr. Blubaugh found great joy in his hobbies. He was a lover of nature, an accomplished gardener, and a gifted woodworker, all of which reflected his deep appreciation for craftsmanship.

Mr. Blubaugh’s enduring legacy is carried on by his devoted wife, Edwina, and their children: Robert E. Blubaugh (Barbara), Michael B. Blubaugh (Joyce), Kimberly A. Hartman (Ken), Jeffery A. Blubaugh, and Judy L. Mallow (Gregory). He was a loving grandfather to Jessica, Emily, Nikki, Janis, Julie, and Ashley, and a proud great-grandfather to ten treasured great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Donald A. Blubaugh, his half-sister, Mary Jane, as well as two nieces and a nephew.

Mr. Blubaugh was preceded in death by his beloved son, Tom D. Blubaugh, whose memory remained ever in his heart.

Services for Mr. Blubaugh will be private, held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Four Diamonds, P.O. Box 852, Hershey, Pennsylvania 17033 or a charity of your choice in his memory.
