Mrs. Marlene J. (Ross) Blubaugh, 90, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Friday, January 10, 2025, in Chambersburg Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, PA.

Born February 14, 1934 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Clyde F. and Mary V. (Wiederhold) Ross. She was a lifelong resident of the Waynesboro area.

Mrs. Blubaugh graduated from Washington Township High School, Waynesboro, with the Class of 1952.

She and her husband of over 71 years, Cyrus I. “Teddy” Blubaugh, were married on October 3, 1953.

In her early life, Mrs. Blubaugh worked for Miller’s Furniture, Waynesboro. She later worked for over 20 years at The Record Herald, Waynesboro.

Mrs. Blubaugh enjoyed gardening.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Bradley A. Blubaugh of Sewell, NJ; three grandchildren, Brandon Sites, Ashley Carola (Kyle) and Shawn Blubaugh (Kerri); one great-granddaughter, Lucy Carola; one sister, Carletta Mahoney of Vancouver, WA; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Cheri A. Brunk; and two brothers, Rodney Ross and Keith Ross.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, January 16, 2025 in Green Hill Cemetery, 953 S. Potomac St., Waynesboro with Pastor Greg Helman officiating.
