Mary Ann Paugh Stitely
October 21,1948-January 18, 2025
Mary Ann Stitely, 76, was ushered into the presence of her Savior Jesus Christ on January 18, 2025, after a lengthy battle with pulmonary disease.
Mary Ann was born on October 21, 1948, to her parents Guy William Paugh and Mary Jo Hallisey Paugh in Washington DC. She graduated from Bladensburg High School in Bladensburg, MD in 1967.
She was a member of Trinity Christian Fellowship in Biglerville, PA.
Family was important to Mary Ann whether it be a gathering for a holiday, a birthday or just because. Cowan’s Gap and Hershey Park were places that created many happy memories and stories. She adored annual trips to Emerald Isle, North Carolina with her husband, children, grandchildren, and other family members.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents Guy William and Mary Jo Paugh, brothers Billy, Steve and Mickey and her sisters Aileen and Loretta, and her son in law Carl Thomas.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years Ronald M. Stitely who affectionately called her Queenie. Also surviving are her children Jan Loux (Jonathan), Jodie Ostoich (Paul), Christoper Stock, Corey Thomas and stepchildren Bryan Stitely, Karla Jones (David), and Mark Stitely (Angie).
She was known as a feisty Maw Maw to her grandchildren Alicia Deppen, Gabrielle Wolfe, Jordan Stock, Kara Smith, Kurtis, Kenton and Kourtney Loux and her great grandchildren Sophia, Lila, Xavier, Quentin, and Evelyn.
She will be greatly missed by her siblings Leo Paugh (Pearl), Thomas Kelly Carr (Maryann) Gina Long and stepbrother Bryan Miltmore (Stephany).
A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Christian Fellowship 300 E. York Street Biglerville, PA 17307 on February 18, 2025, at 11:00 am with Pastor John Weber officiating. A luncheon will follow at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Trinity Christian Fellowship 300 E. York Street Biglerville, PA 17307.
Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, PA, is assisting with the arrangements.
