Mary Wagner Carpenter went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She passed peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of July 12, 2025.
Born in Trenton NJ, on January 18, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Irwin L Wagner and Mary (Thornberry) Wagner of Downingtown, PA.
Mary graduated from Downingtown High School in 1947 and later worked for Leaman Transportation Co for over 15 years, followed by serving as a teacher’s aide at Beaver Creek Elementary school and as an office administrator for Pepperidge Farm.
She was a proud member of the Triangle Chapter for the Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of the St. James Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her son, Eric Brammer and his wife, Kathryn; grandson, Kyle Brammer and his wife, Savannah; step-son, Edwin Carpenter and his wife, Jill; step-daughters, Rebecca Carpenter and MaryBeth Johnson and her, husband Kurt and their daughters Sarah, Emily and Rachel; nieces, Janis Martinez and Barbara Glover; and nephew, Irwin Wagner, III.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Edwin B. Carpenter; her first husband, Gerald L. Brammer; sister, Helen W. Frazer; and brother, Irwin L. Wagner, II.
Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
