Mary Cecil Logan was born in Washington DC to Eugene I. and Mary E. (nee Mould) Logan on November 9, 1928, but called Cecil throughout her life. Educated in Washington DC at Catholic and Public Schools, she graduated from McKinley Technical School in 1946. After high school, she worked as a Federal employee in the FBI for several years.

Cecil was married on September 16, 1950, to Henry A Fedrizzi of Simsbury Connecticut. The couple lived in White Oak, Maryland for several years while Henry worked at the Department of Navy as an Aeronautical Engineer, and they raised their family. Once the four children were in school, Cecil volunteered at St John the Baptist School and developed a close relationship with all the teachers, especially the nuns. Eventually, Henry and Cecil decided to move to Chambersburg Pennsylvania to establish their retirement home. Once settled in their new home in 1973, Cecil started volunteering at Corpus Christi Catholic School until the 1990s. Cecil enjoyed traveling the world, on many cruises and trips, with the love of her life, Henry. Whether it was traveling, playing cards or sharing meals with family and friends, Cecil enjoyed being with others.

Cecil is preceded in death by her parents: Eugene I. Logan (1968) and Mary E. Logan (1978); her brothers- Eugene Jr (1984), William (2009) and Edward (2013); and her loving husband of fifty-four years, Henry (2005).
