Mary L. Emmons passed away April 29, 2025.
She was the daughter of Naomi Troncone (born August 13, 1940) and was a 1958 graduate of Cameron County High School in Emporium PA.
Mary lived her dream of raising horses and being a published writer. For most of her life, she lived on a horse farm in Gettysburg PA. There she raised thoroughbred Arabian horses for sale and breeding purposes. Many showcased during prominent horse events. Mary spent many long hard hours taking care of her horses.
A true labor of love for Mary. Her writings were many with some sold on Amazon under her pen name (Dominick and the Dragon, Changing Places and Death on Delivery). Her art of writing spans a wide spectrum from mystery, fantasy to literary fiction genres. Her life experiences and desire to take on the challenge to expand her knowledge and understanding by venturing into many genres gave substance to her desire to continue her writing experience and have an impact as a writer.
Mary is survived by three brothers Daniel, Ronald and Timothy Troncone and a sister Genevieve Ekas.
Her wish is for no public services.
Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, PA is handling the arrangements.
