Matthew N. Staub, affectionately known as Matt, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the age of 45. A devoted & loyal husband and father, Matt is survived by his parents William Staub and Susan Cool, with whom he shared a very special bond with, stepdad, Michael Cool, beloved wife of nearly 15 years, Stacey Staub, their beautiful daughter, Madisyn, who will turn 18 in just a few weeks, his brother Pete, and his sisters, Brenda and Billy Jo. Anyone that knew him, always knew the love he had for “his girls “. Matt’s love for his family was profound and he was never shy about telling anyone; he spent every minute with Stacey; they shared a love for each other that many wish they had.

Matt’s dedication extended beyond his family to his personal passions. For over two decades, he was committed to lifting weights and spending his time, faithfully, at the gym. His love for animals was evident in the care he provided to his five dogs: Max, Ace, Bailey, Harley, and Ruby; “the most loyal dogs anyone could ever have”.

In addition to his personal pursuits, Matt was a respected leader in the motorcycle community. Known as “Flex,” he served as the President of the Brothers Bound Motorcycle Club, Agonia Chapter in Pennsylvania, for the past three years. He took great pride in his role, valuing the strong relationships and friendships he made within the club, as well as outside of the club. Matt and Stacey shared a mutual passion for riding, spending their summers, no matter how hot it was, on their Harley and always having each other’s backs when they came up with reasons to avoid riding in the winter!

Matt’s sudden passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy of loyalty, love, and leadership will be remembered by his family, friends, and the community he served.

Matt is preceded in death by his stepmom, Patricia Staub.
