Mrs. Nancy Jane (McElhaney) Pinkl, 83, of Fayetteville, PA passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024, in the emergency room of the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born June 23, 1941 in Jamestown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Free Ralph and Grace Viola (Pitzer) McElhaney.

Mrs. Pinkl graduated from Jamestown Area Senior High School with the Class of 1959.

She and her husband of over 63 years, Francis P. “Frank” Pinkl, were married on November 25, 1961.

Mrs. Pinkl was a homemaker and mother, who worked as a secretary at various offices throughout her life.

She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, where she sang with the Folk Group. She was a former member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Olney, MD, where she was also a singer.

Mrs. Pinkl enjoyed volunteering for local churches and schools. She also enjoyed ceramics, playing tennis and golf.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mary L. Fallon (John) of Fayetteville, PA; two grandchildren, Heather Staubus and Jeremy Fallon; one great-grandson, Noah Rahman; one sister, Frances Conn of Andover, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 17, 2024 in St. Andrew Catholic Church, 12 N. Broad St., Waynesboro with Rev. Christopher Onyeneke, MSSCC officiating. Burial will follow in St. Andrew Cemetery, Waynesboro.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Tuesday morning, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro.
