Nancy Hollar, 84, passed away October 29, 2024, at Chambersburg Hospital. She was born September 15, 1940, in Williamsport, PA, the daughter of Naomi and Joseph Wagner. Nancy graduated from Williamsport Area High School, in Williamsport PA, then went on to attend nursing school at the Chambersburg Hospital School of Nursing. Throughout her lifetime she worked at the Chambersburg Hospital as a nurse, spent many years as a stay at home mom, and drove bus for Myers Bus part time after her children left the home. She enjoyed knitting club, was an avid reader, and loved to travel with friends and family. She was a member and Past Matron of Martha Custis Chapter 352 of the Order of the Eastern Star, a member of Calvary United Methodist church, and enjoyed singing in the choir there. Nancy is survived by her son, Timothy Hollar and his wife Michele, daughter, Karen Miley and her husband, Donald, her son, D. Mark Hollar and his wife Jill, as well as six grandchildren- Rebecca Hollar, Rachel Hollar, Adam Miley, Luke Miley, Regan Hollar, and Riley Hollar and six great grandchildren- Lucas Miley, Mateo Hollar, Marco Hollar, Cora Cortez, and Quentin Miley. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband C. Lamar Hollar. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 150 Norlo Drive, Fayetteville, PA. There will be a visitation from 10:30-11:15, followed by an Eastern Star Service at 11:15. Burial will be in Grindstone Hill Cemetery.
