Mrs. Patricia A. (Morrow) Sease, 93, a resident of Quincy Village and formerly of Waynesboro, PA passed away Wednesday morning, January 22, 2025, in the nursing home.

Born November 24, 1931 in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Morrow and Thelma (Cook) Morrow Izer.

Mrs. Sease graduated from Waynesboro High School with the class of 1949.

She and her husband, the late Elam E. Sease were married on September 23, 1951 in the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Waynesboro. In 1952, Mr. Sease was drafted into the United States Army and she went with him to Camp Gordon, GA. There Mrs. Sease worked as a secretary to the Assistant Chief of Staff G3. Mr. Sease died on April 28, 2008.

After graduating from high school, Mrs. Sease worked at Landis Tool Company as a secretary.

She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Waynesboro. Her hobbies included ceramics, counted cross-stich, and vacations to Williamsburg, VA. She also enjoyed feeding and watching birds in her rose garden and tending to her roses and lavender.

She is survived by two children; Paul E. “Rusty” Sease and his wife, Susan of Waynesboro and Susan L. Bowman and her husband, Ricky of Waynesboro; three grandchildren, Rebecca L. Bowman and her husband, Vivek Shankar of Seoul, South Korea, Jennifer N. Kipe and her husband, Shaun of Mont Alto, PA and Kevin A. Bowman and his wife, Megan of Charlestown, WV; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was the last of her immediate family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bernarr Morrow and Robert Morrow.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 29, 2025 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with her grandson-in-law, Pastor Shaun Kipe officiating. Burial will follow in Harbaugh Church Cemetery, Rouzerville, PA.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Wednesday afternoon, in the funeral home.
