Mrs. Patricia K. “Pat” (Kauffman) Miller, 86, of Mont Alto, PA, passed away, Monday, February 24, 2025, in the Waynesboro Hospital, Waynesboro, PA.
Born March 27, 1938, in Mont Alto, she was the daughter of the late Robert B. and Margaretta L. (Reed) Kauffman. She was a live long resident of the area.
Pat graduated from the Waynesboro Area High School with the class of 1956.
She and her husband, the late Jackie L. “Jack” Miller were married January 5, 1957, in Hagerstown, MD. They enjoyed 45 years of marriage together before Jack passed away August 16, 2002.
In her younger years, Pat was employed by Doubleday Book Co., Smithsburg, MD, where she worked as a data entry clerk for various offices in the area from 1960 to 1988. After leaving the book company, she was employed at Penn State Mont Alto, working in the bookstore from 2001 until she retired in 2015.
Pat was a member of Calvary Assembly of God, Waynesboro since 1957 where she served as Sunday School Secretary and missionette leader for 12 years. She thoroughly enjoyed her job at Penn State and interacting with all of the college students, loved swimming at Caledonia State Park, and being a sales representative for Avon, which she did for 33 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Kesselring and her husband Cliff of Mont Alto; and her granddaughter, Tracy Kesselring.
She was the last of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Missy Joe Kesselring; a sister, Betty Jean (Kauffman) Pentz; and a brother, Robert Kauffman, Jr.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, is handling the arrangements.
