Pauline F. (Heck) Oyler, 91, of Fayetteville, PA, went to be with her Savior on Monday, June 2, 2025, at The Shook Home. Born March 3, 1934, in Chambersburg, Polly was the daughter of the late J. Paul Heck and Margaret (Kriner). Polly was a graduate of Chambersburg High School and proud member of Chambersburg High School class of "53". On December 5, 1954, Polly married Kenneth W. Oyler at Zion Reformed UCC where she attended and was confirmed in her youth. She lived in Fayetteville and was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School, was a Youth Director with her husband, served on Church Council and numerous committees. In her early years she was a telephone operator. Later she worked at various ladies clothing stores and Village Square Bridal Salon where she enjoyed helping ladies choose their wardrobes and wedding dresses. Polly belonged to VFW Aux. Post 224 Life Member, Order of Eastern Star – Martha Custis #342 and Kittatinny Historical Society. Polly loved her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed having lunch with her classmates and many dear friends. Her social life in later years was curtailed due to health issues but kept in touch with her friends. She is survived by her husband Kenneth W. of 70 years, her two children, Gail (Randy Cox) Fayetteville; Barbara (Richard Selman) Chambersburg; three grandchildren, Amanda (Jeff Newton) Mt. Juliet, TN; Bennett Selman, Chambersburg, and Abigail Selman, Philadelphia; three great grandchildren, Emma Newton, Mt. Juliet, TN; Madilyn and Carter Selman, Chambersburg. Polly is also survived by her twin sister Margaret "Peggy" Rice (Harvey); two brothers, John Heck, and D. Frank Heck (Deb) and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Terry Heck and Larry Heck. Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 44 E. Main Street, Fayetteville, on June 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Christopher Frye officiating. There will be honors by the Martha Custis Chapter No. 342 Order of the Eastern Star from 10:45- 11:00 a.m. and a visitation from 10-10:45 am., prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Norland Cemetery.
