Rachel Lynn (Harbaugh) Jackson, 39, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in her home.
Born December 23, 1985, in Waynesboro, PA, she is the daughter of Regina (Kershner) Harbaugh of Waynesboro and the late Dennis W. Harbaugh.
After high school, Rachel graduated from Hagerstown College with a degree in business.
She worked for a time at First Data, Hagerstown, MD and for State Farm.
Rachel loved her family and friends. She enjoyed watching movies, keeping up with her friends on Facebook, and painting. She adored her fur babies; her dogs: Vee and Chester and her cats: Harley, Callie and Riley. She was protestant by faith.
In addition to her mother, Rachel is survived by her daughter, DaMyia McKenzie of Waynesboro; her maternal grandmother, Frances Woods of Fayetteville, PA, her paternal grandmother, Betty Harbaugh of State Line, PA; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends: Stephanie, Chantelle, Heidi, Joe and Jackie, among many others.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, William “Bill” Harbaugh, her great-grandmother, Jennet Welsh, and her uncles: Jerry Kershner and Dave Harbaugh.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 17, 2025 in Grace Baptist Church, 623 N. Grant St., Ext., Waynesboro with Pastor Dave Butler officiating. The family will receive friends at a reception following the service in the church.
