Mr. Richard Hohman Angle, 89, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025 in Quincy Village Nursing Home.
Born January 23, 1936 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Lloyd R. and Mary V. (Heinbaugh) Angle.
Richard was a graduate of Quincy High School with the Class of 1954.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict where he was stationed in Japan and Korea.
Mr. Angle was a longtime employee of Valley Transit and Mack Truck Manufacturing.
He enjoyed a life of simplicity and exceptional success.
Mr. Angle is survived by his wife of almost 64 years, Mrs. Gloria Elaine (Creager) Angle, who he married January 1, 1963; one sister, Norma L. Miller of Waynesboro; brother, Gerald Angle of Waynesboro; sister-in-law, Carol “Ann” Hendershot of Fayetteville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Jean D. Slaybaugh.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 5, 2026 in Green Hill Cemetery, 953 S. Potomac Street, Waynesboro with Pastor Bill Shank officiating.
