Mr. Robert F. Reed, 73, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Tuesday morning, November 5, 2024, at Quincy Village, Waynesboro, PA.
Born October 9, 1951 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Theodore “Sonny” Pryor and Dorothy J. (Shockey) Pryor.
Bob served in the United States Army for over 20 years. He later worked as a cook at the American Legion in Mechanicsburg, PA for 25 years.
He was a former of Joe Stickell American Legion Post #15 and William Max McLaughlin V.F.W. Post #695, both of Waynesboro.
Bob enjoyed working on model cars and hunting.
He is survived by one daughter, Bridget Meyers of New Oxford, PA; two sons, Robert Reed of Carlisle, PA and Steven Reed of Carlisle, PA; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Melaine High of St. Thomas, PA and Ivy Freelove of Mont Alto, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant grandson.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. It was his wish to have his body donated to science.
