Mr. Ronald L. “Ron” Dick, 67, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away, Monday, May 12, 2025 in his home.

Born January 20, 1958 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Charles S. and Betty P. (Beckwith) Dick

.

In his earlier years, Ron worked at Regency Thermographers, Waynesboro, and C&S Builders. He later became the owner/operator of RL Dick Home Improvements. He formally retired in 2004.

Ron found enjoyment in all aspects of life. In his younger years, he was on the high school track team and played baseball. He also enjoyed taking his boat out on the Potomac River and water skiing. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, shooting pool, scuba diving, and the Dallas Cowboys. He had a special love for tropical fish and history, often talking and reminiscing of the earlier days for hours. Above all else, Ron was a proud grandfather.

In addition to his beloved best friend of over 30 years, Jen Cook, he is survived by his daughter, Charlene Bookwalter of Hagerstown, MD; a grandson, Jacob Forsythe; his siblings, Tamara Morris and her husband Thomas of Shippensburg, PA, and William Dick and his wife Yongae of Virgina; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Noreen Selby.

Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
