Born March 13, 1937, in Waynesboro, PA. Shirley Ann Stull, 88 years of age went to be with her Lord and Savior June 25, 2025, at 5:14 P.M., at the Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA. The last 54 years of her life she lived at 8609 Monn’s Gap Road, Waynesboro. In her last days due to health reasons, she became a resident of Paramount Senior Living, Fayetteville, PA.

She was the youngest of thirteen children and the daughter of the late Anna May (Monn) Daley and Chester Harris Daley. She was a graduate of the class of 1955, Waynesboro Area Senior High School. She married Clarence W. “Jimmy” Stull Senior on June 9, 1955.

She lived all her life in the Waynesboro area. She had several places of employment in her life such as Connie Sportswear, Record Herald for 12 years, caretaker of children and others for many years. She was a devoted wife and mother always. In her younger years she was very active in the church. She was at one time, a member of Life Gate Ministries, formerly Fairview Chapel, where she attended for 30 years. In her final years starting in 2010, she attended the Blue Rock Church, Waynesboro. She and her husband remembered the needy at Christmas time with baskets of food, prepared at the Foxhill Church, Waynesboro. Her husband Clarence W. Stull Sr. passed away October 23, 2009.

She loved the Lord and devoted her whole life to taking care of her husband, loved ones, and friends. Among her many interests she was busy in the church teaching Sunday school and vacation bible school. She also taught cub scouts and girl scouts. She had many hobbies and enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, baking, cooking, creating floral arrangements, crocheting, embroidery, reading the bible, canning, and volunteering her services as room parent assisting the teachers for many years in the Waynesboro Area Schools.

She took much pleasure and really enjoyed her cat Cinnamon, petting her, while the cat set on her lap.

In her younger days she loved to swim, and she couldn’t wait to go to the beach. She was a fantastic speller and enjoyed crossword puzzles and word puzzles. She made it a practice to study the Bible, and she wanted to help people anyway she could. She was a people person. She was a very loving, caring mother, always putting others before herself. She would constantly give of herself to her family and friends to the point of fatigue.

She was a wonderful servant of the Lord, mother, wife, sister, and daughter to her mother. She loved everyone. She will be deeply and sadly missed by her family and all who had the joy of knowing her.

She is survived by her children, S. Roxanne Naugle of Waynesboro, Pamela K. “Penny” McCormick of Parrish FL, Clarence W. “Jimmy” Stull Jr., of Waynesboro, and Gretchen (Stull) Kirby of Madisonville, LA; her grandchildren, Brandy Zzyzx of Tucson Arizona, and Amber Naugle Dickinson of Waynesboro; five great grandsons; one brother, Robert “Man” Daley of Waynesboro, PA; one sister Ernestine “Susie” Cole of Waynesboro.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband Clarence W. “Jimmy” Stull Sr., five brothers, and five sisters.

Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Pastor Greg Helman officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery, Waynesboro.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M., until 7:00 P.M., Tuesday evening in the funeral home.
