Skyler M. Souders, age 26, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at his home after a two-year battle with Leukemia. Born in Chambersburg, PA, on September 10, 1998, he was the son of Harold N. and Tammy S. Florig Souders.
Skyler was a 2018 graduate of CASHS. He worked as a Manager at Grocery Outlet until his illness. He was Cadet Chief Petty Officer in the JROTC program and a member of the Chambersburg Color Guard. Skyler loved WWE Wrestling, playing video games, spray painting, and completing Lego sets.
In addition to his parents, Skyler is survived by his wife, Kirstie S. Gaver Souders, whom he married on May 22, 2021; two children, Colson M. and Luna S. Souders; siblings, Richard M. Souders of Somerset, PA and Chelsey N. Roberts (husband Derrick) of Chambersburg, PA; his paternal grandmother, Dora Edna Mae Souders; a nephew, Maesun Wagner; and a niece, SkiLynn Roberts. Skyler was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gail and Edgar Florig and his paternal grandfather, Harold A. Souders.
