Ms. Sue Ann (Harbaugh) Goetz, 66, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away, Saturday April 12, 2025, in Menno Haven, Brookview Healthcare Center, Chambersburg, PA.

Born October 1, 1958, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Elizabeth W. “Betty” (Weaver) Harbaugh.

Ms. Goetz graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the class of 1976. She also attended college for a year.

She was employed at Citi Corp, Hagerstown, MD, for over 15 years as a customer service representative. She was later an ordained pastor and worked as the pastor of Bellefonte United Methodist Church, Bellefonte, PA, for over 4 years.

She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Waynesboro, and was active when she was able to attend. She was also a member of the Way Station Ministries, Waynesboro, where she served as a board member.

Ms. Goetz enjoyed playing guitar, writing songs, singing, reading, and the color purple.

She is survived by one son, Jeremy D. Goetz of Frederick, MD; her sisters, Jean H. Rickard of Waynesboro, Rose E. Blair and her husband Dean Jr., of Waynesboro, Amy L. Taczanowsky and her husband Ed, of Greenville, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Sue will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 1, 2025, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, with Pastor Steve Sheldon officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thursday in the funeral home.

Burial will be private in Parklawns Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Chambersburg.
