Susanne M. Cramer, 86, passed away peacefully, March 28, 2025, at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the wife of both the late Robert W. Drawbaugh and Dr. Harry R. Cramer, Sr. Born September 23, 1938, in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of William Byron Kauffman and Nellie Franklin Kauffman. She was a 1956 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School. Susanne enjoyed a variety of employment positions from serving the public at various restaurants, to working at Chambersburg Hospital, where she retired. She especially enjoyed traveling to places like Martha’s Vineyard, Rehoboth Beach and Disney World with various family members and friends. A dedicated and loving mother, she is survived by her four beloved children, Karen S. Drawbaugh of Wyomissing, PA, David B. Drawbaugh (Cynthia) of Ortanna, PA, Kristen M. Sechrist (William) of York, PA, and Dianna R. Huijts (Peter) of Burlington, KY, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Margaret Drawbaugh Boward of Clear Spring, MD. She is also survived by Mollee, her Welsh corgi, who was both a companion and service dog. Her greatest joy was being with all of them. Susanne’s children wish to express their utmost appreciation to Country Meadow, Leader Heights for the caring, loving and dedicated assistance given their mother. They provided care beyond expectation. Susanne thoroughly enjoyed living at Country Meadows, especially interacting with staff and residents. A heartfelt appreciation to WellSpan York Hospital for their professional, knowledgeable and caring service during the past years.
