Mr. Thomas M. Null, 76, of South Mountain, PA passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024, in the Waynesboro Hospital.

Born January 22, 1948 in Renova, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph D. and Mary T. (Hanobik) Null.

Tom graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1967.

He and his wife of over 56 years, Helen M. (Naugle) Null, were married on September 14, 1968 in South Mountain, PA.

Tom worked at Grove Manufacturing for over 34 years and later worked at Martin’s Pastry Shoppe for 10 years.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints – Fairview Ward, Waynesboro and enjoyed bowling, billiards and playing his Pac-Man machine.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Kimberly Whalen of South Mountain, Michael Null of North Carolina and Jody Null of South Mountain; two grandchildren, William Forsythe and Nicole Forsythe; two great-grandchildren, Eva Matthews and Kira Matthews; one sister, Maryann Rutter of South Mountain; one brother, Charles Null of Gettysburg, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Thomas Whalen; two brothers, James Null and Joseph “Ron” Null; and two nephews, David Null and Kevin Null.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 12, 2024 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Matt and Gene Hurley officiating. Burial will follow in Strang’s Cemetery, South Mountain, PA.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Tuesday afternoon, in the funeral home.
