Mr. Timothy A. “Tim” Kiser, 60, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in his home.
Born October 13, 1964, in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Lyle E. Kiser Sr. and Louise E. (Keefer) Kiser.
Tim graduated from Greencastle Antrim High School with the class of 1982.
He held various jobs throughout his life. Tim was a truck driver for several local companies, he was a newspaper deliverer for the Hearld Mail in Hagerstown, and also worked for Fed-Ex in Williamsport, MD, where he held the position of a dock worker.
A skilled handyman, Tim had a passion for small engine repair and took great pride in maintaining his vehicles. Whether he was under the hood of a car or watching his favorite NASCAR driver, Mark Martin, he found joy in all things mechanical. He had a love for music especially Classic Rock and the timeless melodies of The Beatles. He was a gentle spirit who had a gift for storytelling, making every tale he told come alive. His quick wit could bring laughter to any room. He will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Sandra D. Smith of Smithsburg, MD, Kathey M. Stoner of Greencastle, PA, Lyle Eugene (Gene) Kiser Jr., and his wife Julie of Greencastle, Shirley J. Reed and her husband Stephon of Springfield, WV, and Kenneth W. Kiser and his wife Anna of Greencastle; 5 beloved nieces; and 6 beloved nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly A. Kuhn, and his niece, Michelle Kiser.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 14, 2025, in Cedar Hill Cemetery, 1215 Buchanan Trail W., Greencastle, with Rev. Dr. Stephon Reed officiating.
