Mr. Timothy L. Stockslager, 52, of Quincy, PA passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, January 21, 2025, in his home.
Born July 26, 1972 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of Faye (Besecker) Stockslager of Rouzerville, PA and the late Terry Stockslager.
Tim graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1991.
He and his wife of over 28 years and love of his life, Tammy (Sites) Stockslager, were married on October 31, 1996.
Tim currently worked in construction for Ronnie L. Martin Realty, Waynesboro. He had been with the company for over 10 years.
He was a master gardener and grew vegetables for the neighborhood. He enjoyed hunting, the Quarter Mile at Mason Dixon Drag Strip and spending time with his dog, Charlie.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two step-children, Terry L. Kreps, Jr. of South Mountain, PA and Tracy L. Kreps of Waynesboro; two step-grandchildren, Tessa L. Kreps and Taren L. Ausherman, whom he helped to raise; one sister, Kelli Hampton (Erie) of Waynesboro; two nieces, Leah Bakner (Logan) of South Mountain and Lexi Bumbaugh (Cody) of Waynesboro; one nephew, Bradee Hampton of Waynesboro; and his great-nieces and nephews, Lila Bakner, Langston Bakner, Autum “Poppy” Bumbaugh and William Bumbaugh.
A celebration of life service will be held in conjunction with his father’s service from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M., Sunday, February 16, 2025 in the Mont Alto Fire Hall, 517 S. Main St., Mont Alto, PA. A time of sharing and storytelling will be held at 1:30 P.M. Burial will be private.
