Mrs. Violet A. (Peck) Kiser, 92, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Wednesday morning, March 12, 2025, in her home.
Born November 2, 1932 in Washington Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Elsie M. (Thomas) Peck. She was a lifelong resident of the Waynesboro area.
She was a graduate of Quincy High School.
Mrs. Kiser worked for over 32 years in housekeeping at the Waynesboro Hospital. She retired in 1993.
She was an active member of Blue Rock Church, Waynesboro and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her sister – Goldie.
She is survived by two sons, Philip O. Kiser (Bonnie Keefer) of Greencastle and Ricky L. Kiser (Jamie) of Waynesboro; one grandson, Tyson Kiser; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Peck of Chambersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Jason Kiser; two sisters, Hazel Hildabridle and Goldie Shockey; and five brothers, William Peck, Leonard Peck, Kenneth Peck, Leo Peck, and Melvin Peck.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, March 17, 2025 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Linda Harbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery, near Quincy, PA.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Monday morning, in the funeral home.
