Mr. William B. “Bill” Baker, 64, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

Born on December 11, 1959, in Waynesboro, PA, Bill, or Will as his family knew him, was the son of the late William C. and Catherine (Sheffler) Baker. He graduated from Waynesboro High School in the class of 1977.

Bill was employed in Information Technology work for most of his life, and most recently served as the Quality Assurance/Traceability Coordinator at Hadley Farms Bakery in Smithsburg, MD. He had a love for music and spent many years playing piano and organ at Cedar Lawn Missionary Church in Hagerstown, MD.

Bill’s faith never wavered and his love for others knew no bounds. He especially loved spending time with extended family thru friendship, as well as his dogs Abby & Emma.

A beloved friend, Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew him but none more so than Michael “JR” Garland, Jr., and his wife Cynthia of Chambersburg, PA, who will carry the memories of shared experiences with Bill in their hearts forever.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Ann Myers; his brother, William C. Baker; and his nephew, Brian L. Myers.

Bill is survived by his great-niece, Britney Myers; and great-great-niece, Willow Rowe.

As per Bill’s wishes, there will be no public services at this time.
